I am raising this concern publicly because what happened with my elderly parents during their Agra to Sirsa journey with Abhimanyu Travels booked via @redBus_in was extremely stressful, irresponsible, and emotionally disturbing for our family.
The boarding point was mentioned only as “Kuberpur Chowk Expressway” without any proper landmark, exact GPS pin, or identifiable pickup location. The area is full of highways, flyovers, ring roads, and service roads, making it nearly impossible for someone unfamiliar with Agra to understand the exact boarding point. Please find attached screenshot of Kuberpur Chowk Expressway
I genuinely do not understand how RedBus allows boarding points to be listed without mandatory map locations and proper landmarks. Both RedBus and bus operators should ensure that every boarding point has an accurate GPS pin and clear nearby landmark information before allowing bookings. Such vague highway pickup points can create serious safety and coordination issues for passengers.
I spent hours checking maps, street view, nearby shops, highway routes, and calling multiple support numbers just to identify the correct location. Shockingly, none of the provided contacts could clearly explain the pickup point. The driver only kept mentioning highway names and zero points instead of simple landmarks.
Since my parents are senior citizens and not from Agra, I repeatedly requested the driver to cooperate and guide them properly. After multiple discussions, he finally asked them to wait at Agra Inner Ring Road toll gate.
My parents reached there around 3 PM, informed the driver, and waited for hours at the toll plaza canteen. Around 4:50 PM, the driver suddenly called saying the bus had arrived. Within 2-3 minutes my parents came outside, but the bus had already left. When contacted again, the driver casually asked them to “come to Delhi” if they wanted to catch it.
Leaving elderly passengers stranded near an unknown highway location despite continuous coordination is not just inconvenience, it is a serious passenger safety concern.
Requesting @redBus_in and Abhimanyu Travels (https://t.co/XcZOuhSVyc) support team to seriously look into this matter and provide proper resolution and accountability for this experience.
