Today marks my 12th year at @Google / @GoogleDeepMind and I can't imagine a better way to spend it than in Bali with the top AI @googledevs from around the world.
So much excitement building with Gemini and Gemma, impacting 6 continents from big cities to small rural schools.
I've just been reading the Agent2Agent technical docs - Google's new protocol for agent to agent communication.
You know what that means. Let's diagram them:
✨👩💻 Our @DeepMind Code AI team delivered a presentation this morning about the work we've done internally and externally—and the path for reinventing what it means to do software development and creative technical work in the age of generative models.
🤖 RL and generative models combined have massive potential for creators: and there has never been a more capable group to build and implement this vision. ✨
Very excited for the years to come! 🙌🏻

☀️ Good morning from #GoogleIO! We're joining ML #GDE@margaretmz at Google's Shoreline Amphitheater in California for a glimpse into I/O's in-person happenings. First order of business: Pastries! Then registration before finding a prime spot to watch from.
Check out my "Chat with #ML#GDE@hanneshapke" on our ML GDE YouTube channel! He shared with us how he became an ML GDE, what he likes the most about being an ML GDE, and a few of his work & community projects. #machinelearning@GoogleDevExpert

I have followed the applied NLP work from @ucrelcrs at Lancaster University with a lot of interest. And so, I am excited to give a talk discussing large language models for supporting users in automated visualization tasks (system building, evaluation, research opportunities).
This year's #GoogleIO is nearing the finish line, and many GDEs like @margaretmz will now begin prepping for Extended. Before that, though, Margaret is showing us one more aspect of I/O's offerings: The community environment that makes learning in person so much fun!
In the last post, we discussed the importance of programming in data science. In this week's post, we will explore the syntax of Python and create a simple program that uses GCP Vision API to detect faces in an image. https://t.co/p7Ps1TMBLe
Map facial movement into a 3D model with RiggingJs!
@devharuiz, #GoogleDevExpert in Machine Learning, created an open-source react.js application that allows you to easily transfer the movement into 3D models.
