@FirstinGlasgow I'm so sorry for a late reply. I'm not usually using this social media. But yes, it has been late on a few occasions and it was on time, I think, once. I have just herd the timetable has changed?

@FirstinGlasgow something needs to be done with buses in West Dunbartonshire. If timetable says 8:36am then it should come on time instead of having people wait half an hr 🙄 it's ridiculous. People have places to be and things to do

@inquisitor111 @FirstinGlasgow This timetable has been done since September 2024. Shouldn't have to be waiting over 30 minutes and then for 2 buses show up. Traffic can't be helped but if every other bus comes on time then there is no excuse on this one

@TonyCur84654763 @FirstinGlasgow It's just that 2 buses went the opposite direction. And both showed up- one being 30 minutes late and other bang on time. School kids being late due to one bus not appearing at their due time

In 2005, a nursing home in the US got a six-month-old kitten named Oscar as a therapy cat. The staff soon noticed something unusual about him.

Oscar often liked to be by himself, but sometimes he would go and lie next to one of the residents.

Strangely, the resident he chose would often pass away within a few hours.

At first, the workers didn't think it was important, but after it happened 20 times, they started to think Oscar knew when someone was going to die.

So, they began to call the resident's family if they saw Oscar with them.

Some people think Oscar could sense certain smells from dying cells, and that's why he went to comfort residents who were alone.

There was even a time when the staff thought one resident was going to die, but Oscar stayed with a different, healthier-looking person, who then died first.

Oscar lived until 2022 and was right about more than 100 deaths during his life.

Jenny the cat was the Titanic's mascot, brought on board to help fight rodents. She lived in the ship's galley and was cared for by a laborer named Jim Mulholland.
During the sea trials, Jenny gave birth to kittens and Jim found them a comfortable place next to the ship's galley. Caring for the mother cat and her kittens broke up the monotony of Jim's work preparing the Titanic for sailing. Jenny seemed content with her warm place near the boilers, her babies, and the kitchen scraps that Jim brought her. However, as soon as the ship docked in Southampton, England, just before it began its maiden voyage (to New York), Jenny took a good look at her surroundings and quickly began grabbing her kittens by the necks and carrying them out. One by one, down the gangway she led them out of the ship.
Jim watched her carefully and realized that "this cat must know something that no one else does!". He then quickly gathered his few belongings and left the ship as well.
Years later, Irish Road published Jenny's story after a journalist spoke to a very old man - Jim, who told the story.
He survived thanks to the cat and her kittens who warned him
