❤️🩹🇦🇷 Leo Messi: “Dad, you kept asking me to play in one last World Cup… just days before it began was when your condition got worse”.
“It was the first time you weren’t going to be there with me at tournament… but Mom kept telling me you were going to get better and that you’d be well enough to travel”.
“I kept telling you we were going to reach the World Cup final so you could make the trip, this was my mission once again”.
“After every match, I waited for and missed your message. That’s when I realized how serious the situation really was”.
“I couldn’t stop thinking about going as far as possible, give you more time and the chance to watch one of the games”.
“We reached the final, but you couldn’t be there. I wanted to win it so I could bring the trophy to you and show you another one. I couldn’t”.
“My legs just couldn’t give me any more”.
“This time I tried to push beyond what my body could handle, but I couldn’t”.
“I never managed to feel physically right”.
“We didn’t become champions Dad, but you have no idea how much we enjoyed every match. Once again, you were right: I had to be there and play in it… as you told me, always”.
Tom Holland reveals his go-to workout for when he’s short on time.
“I do a CrossFit workout called Cindy. It's five pull-ups, 10 push-ups, 15 squats, as many times as you can in 20 minutes.

My girlfriend is genuinely my best friend. And not in the “we’re dating, so obviously we’re friends” kind of way, but in the “there’s genuinely no one else I’d rather laugh with, annoy, or do stupid shit with” kind of way. She’s my favorite person, my safe place, and the person I always want around. She’s my person.
Tom Holland sharing a quote that said “if you have a problem with me, text me, and if you don’t have my number, you don’t know me well enough to have a problem with me” really stuck with me
People think grief is only death but life is full of little funerals. The self you never became, the city you had to leave, the friends who faded without goodbye...
Grief lives in summers that won't return.
Grief is hearing an old song & remembering a life you no longer live.
Grief is sitting quietly and remembering a particular kind of laughter that belonged to someone who no longer exists in your life.
People who spend long periods of time at home and slowly lose the desire to go outside often think they're just resting. But psychologically, many of them are experiencing something called mental rumination. It's a state where the brain starts slowing down while the number of thoughts inside keeps increasing and the motivation to do anything slowly disappears. The mind gets stuck in the past, worries about the future and burns itself out. This isn't laziness, it's a nervous system stuck in survival mode. And the longer it lasts, the more distant normal life begins to feel. And the difficult part is that you usually can't escape it through one massive burst of motivation. And sometimes, recovery starts with just one small step.
