A horrifying incident came to light around 9:30 on Thursday morning (20th June) when the body of a woman was found in a water tanker. The incident came to light while water was being released through the water tanker near the power house in Phursungi area. The discovery of the dead body created a stir. Fatal Accident on Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway Bypass in Pune; MSRTC Bus Collides with Two-Wheeler

Chandni Chowk, 13th June 2024: A fatal accident occurred in Pune involving a bus. The incident took place at Chandni Chowk on the Katraj Dehu Road Bypass of the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway. The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus collided with a two-wheeler, resulting in the immediate death of both riders. The bus, a freight vehicle, lost control and subsequently collided with multiple other vehicles, causing injuries to more than 5 to 6 individuals.

Police and fire brigade personnel have arrived at the scene, and further investigation is currently underway.

Damayanti Solanki(59) riding pillion on a scooter was killed on the spot after a dumper lost control and hit the scooter from behind near the Gangadham fire brigade office, Pune around 1pm on Wednesday.

As per the driver he lost control of the vehicle as it was raining and hit the scooter from behind and ran over the victim after she fell from the scooter, killing her on the spot.

The deceased and her daughter in law Priyanka Solanki (38) were going to market on their scooter when they met with the accident.

Priyanka suffered minor injuries to her hands and legs and was rushed to a private hospital.

The truck driver Ashok Mahato (37) was immediately arrested on the charges of causing death due to negligence.
