@basedkuroi@honeybunwife What is the point of following story beats in a trilogy that is already lost. It is not a Star Wars trilogy if it lacks vision or conviction
@agraybee Nobody bought it because the trilogy is rotten. People were buying it in 2015 after the inoffensive movie with zero vision but stopped buying it after the second film.
@ctgolf17 @ct_girlie Andor is effortlessly more complexly scored. Coming from someone who thinks Ludwig released one of the best film scores of all time with Oppenheimer, the Mandalorian scores are catchy ringtones, not even in the same league as Britell’s.
@robbiegoodwin@freakofxeets That’s not how cliches and tropes work. They pioneered the execution, they didn’t drive it into the ground for parody like insomniac Spider-Man
@battleupsaber There is no “fear” of it, they were literally rejected by the general audience due to shipping out voluntarily dogshit projects for 6 years.
@sbodrojan There is no good regular Star Wars movie that takes part in a trilogy with zero conviction or vision. The heart of The Star Wars Trilogy is a vision.
@sharhem@mezon_lol@CobaltGreen1138 It is not a secret. It was in production hell. Rogue One had enough meat on its bones to get salvaged by a gifted writer. There is nothing more to it. If you’re wondering what Star Wars movies look like when they aren’t able to be salvaged with conviction, we have those too.
