Can someone explain to me why the concentration of water is highest in the superficial layer of articular cartilage & proteoglycan highest in the deep layer, yet a main function of proteoglycan is to attract water? #orthotwitter#MedEd
When conducting research, are we biased by analyzing our own data? What if we could only analyze data from other institutions? Obviously, would be inconvenient at first & there would be HIPAA concerns but these can be easily managed.
I know some institutions have large databases they like using but maybe they would be incentivized to help others develop similar databases if they can't use their own. #MedEd#orthotwitter#research

Why are "MEN WORKING" road signs still in use? Honestly, not sure why they have ever been used. Why not just say "WORKERS AHEAD"? Did they think drivers would be more careful knowing it was men who were working?
