@surskitmaxxing @LukeFHan Eternal joy does not require no appropriate changes in emotion. Scripture also speaks of God’s wrath, God weeping, etc. It’s obvious from scripture he feels human emotion. It makes us “like” him. He IS affected by people, events, & choices. He is not a stone cold statue.

@dttpeople False. The “fruits” are publicly acknowledged by data. People come IN to the church perhaps due to feelings. No one knows everything or sees all the fruits till they’ve lived through it for a time. People STAY due to fulfillment: blessings, promises, prophecies, purpose, truth.

@realDrTT We view it as a template or example: “after this manner pray ye” vs “speak ye these exact words”. We use elements of the Lords Prayer in every prayer we say: thy will be done, bless us, forgive us, help us forgive, help us avoid sin & do good to others, etc etc.
