@undercoverjule Unfortunately employers and employees see GP fit notes over riding any other advice. OH and GP fit notes are both advisory. Sorry to say but GPs often lack the job knowledge and give inappropriate advice.

I think GP fit notes should state that if occupational health is available in the workplace then they should be referred there. The number of GP fit notes that "disable" workers is disheartening #Britainsbenefits #Dispatches
