Tomorrow is Thursday.
Fast if you are able to, if not earn reward by reminding others.
Remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers (Q51:55).
Baarakallahu Feekum.
While South African Xenophobic mobs hunt and burn Nigerian businesses in Johannesburg, South African-listed Optasia, operating as Nairatime in Nigeria, led by one Bassim Haidar just burned airtime and data lending from inside Lagos.
They walked into a Nigerian court, got a suspension of an FCCPC regulation - aimed at introducing fair competition in the airtime and data borrowing space - and killed ordinary Nigerians' access to credit.
The lending program has stopped, which has affected people's lives.
While their countrymen hunt Nigerians in South African streets, Optasia hunts Nigerian financial freedom, stifling competition and forcing an imperialist monopoly.
And to the Nigerian judicial officials who enabled this, history is watching.
EXPOSED: How A South African-Listed Company Suspended An FCCPC Regulation That Favours Nigerian Fintechs, Using A Nigerian Court!
South Africans carrying out baseless xenophobic attacks on Nigerians is enough cause for anger. But more infuriating is a South African-listed company operating in Nigeria brazenly suspending an FCPC regulation that favours Nigerian-owned fintech, using our local courts.

"We have platformed."
And that right there is where your problem starts. You still believe that YOU platformed Peller and his fellow creatures of the Nigerian brainrot swamp. Let me break the news to you:
THE. ALGORITHMS. ARE. BLACK. BOXES.
You do NOT know what goes into them and how they work. That story you heard that "the algorithm only shows you more of what you engage with" is a completely false statement, right up there with "crypto is decentralised and outside the state's control."
People have actually tried to take the platforms to court to open up their algorithms to public scrutiny, and the US court ruling which you can Google and read by yourself said that THE ALGORITHMS ARE PROPRIETARY. In other words, they are protected by IP law and you legally are not allowed to know how they actually work!
You did not platform any of these people! White guys in Silicon Valley did! You are not the one "making stupid people famous". Larry Ellison, Elon Musk, Sergey Brin and Mark Zuckerberg are the ones deciding who becomes famous in your society.
That is exactly why western social media platforms are banned in China and Russia - they want to retain the power to determine their own internal conversation. And by the way, China was accused of using TikTok to engineer US society the same way, which is why TikTok USA was forced to sell a controlling stake to Larry Ellison.
Stop misdiagnosing your problem, which is lack of sovereignty. "Nigerians are stupid and like stupid things" is not an intelligent explanation of how the world works! Only a simple minded person takes everything at face value even when superior information is so readily available.

Hijāb would not stop bandits or terrorists from abducting or killing you.
Reciting the Qur'ān would not necessarily stop them from harming, raping or murdering you.
Being a Muslim means little to many of them. You could be reciting the verses of Allah while they slaughter you.
Wearing a cassock would not stop them from abducting or killing you either.
Carrying a Bible would not necessarily protect you from their violence.
Being a Christian means nothing to them. You could be praying in a church and still become a victim.
Being a traditional ruler would not spare you.
Being a farmer would not spare you.
Being a trader, student, teacher, doctor or civil servant would not spare you.
Being Fulani, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Tiv, Kanuri, Ijaw or from any other ethnic group would not automatically protect you.
Living in the North is no guarantee of safety.
Living in the South is no guarantee of safety.
Living in a village is no guarantee of safety.
Living in a city is no guarantee of safety.
Terrorism, banditry and violent criminality do not ultimately distinguish between tribe, region, denomination or political affiliation. Their victims have been Muslims and Christians, Northerners and Southerners, rich and poor, men, women and children.
This is why security must never be treated as a tribal issue, a regional issue or a religious issue.
It is a human issue.
The blood of a Nigerian is the blood of a Nigerian.
The tears of a grieving mother in Borno are no different from those of a grieving mother in Benue, Plateau, Kaduna, Zamfara, Katsina, Niger, Edo, Ogun, Oyo, Enugu or Rivers.
Our pain is shared. Our security is shared. Our future is shared.
The enemies of peace thrive when we are divided by religion, ethnicity and politics. They are weakened when we stand together as one people against violence, terrorism, kidnapping and criminality.
May Allah protect Nigeria, strengthen our security agencies, comfort the victims of violence, return the abducted safely to their families and grant lasting peace, justice and security to every corner of our nation. Āmīn.

92.4% of Nigerian children cannot read or understand a simple, age-appropriate text by age 10.
Only 9% of children whose mothers have no formal schooling can write a single word, according to the World Bank.
Nigeria is facing an Early Childhood Development (ECD) crisis.
Now READ, and as you read, keep in mind that this company recently acquired a Nigerian “indigenous” defense technology company. The CIA is in charge of the technology Nigeria intends to use for national security. I don’t think Nigerians understand what this means, but surely, in due course, they will.
The mastermind behind all of this, Peter Thiel, has just fled to Argentina.
