"Doing good science requires the utmost exertion of body, mind & spirit, yet is consistently filled with failure and rejection." He talks about 3 reasons he kept going. I can relate to the 2nd one - "Watching the idea develop into new experiments/a new model". What's it for you?
Congratulations to our BSMS graduate @JUSTINP69405310 for being awarded the 'Best Undergraduate Researcher Medal' for the @Chemie_iisertvm. He will join Bowling Green State University @bgsu for his Ph.D. studies. Wishing you the very best in all your Ph.D. pursuits!!! 👏👏🫰

Huge Congratulations to Professor Anantha Chandrakasan for his appointment as the Provost of Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It was wonderful to join the celebration organized by the Consulate General of India on Tuesday. Anantha is the first person of Indian origin to be MIT's provost. He is the perfect leader for this role. So proud!

Our work on bioelectronic treatment of #brain#cancer has recently been highlighted by @chadtough Defeat DIPG Foundation.
Diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (#DIPG) is a lethal pediatric brain cancer, with no existing cure. Surgery is challenging for DIPG because of the risks of injury to sensitive brain structures, in and near the brainstem.
We have developed #NanoElectronic devices that can travel through body fluids, cross blood-brain-barrier and reach regions in the brain that are inaccessible through surgery. These devices also autonomously detect brain tumor regions, even microscopic sites that may not be visible through imaging.
Our animal studies done with patient derived samples from hospitals shows that, where #chemotherapy has minimal effects, our customized electrical stimulation can completely halt the growth of brain cancer.
Our research is supported by ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation and families who lost their children to this intractable disease.
We are dedicated to work hard and advance this technology to humans.
