Long rant but stick with me here..

Amy Klobuchar wants Minnesotans outraged about the “horror show” farmers are supposedly living through? Here's something I would hope every Minnesotans knows...

AMY KLOBUCHAR IS THE RANKING MEMBER OF THE SENATE AGRICULTURE COMMITTEE.

I'm a Minnesota farmer, so let's cut through the campaign BS.

She says we're being devastated by trade.

She says we're losing markets.

She says fertilizer and fuel costs are hammering us.

THEN WHERE THE HELL IS THE FARM BILL?

You're not some helpless spectator standing on the sidelines, Amy.

YOU'RE THE TOP DEMOCRAT ON THE SENATE AG COMMITTEE.

Yet the Farm Bill is STILL unfinished while Washington continues fighting over SNAP provisions.

And now Minnesotans are being sold this idea that Amy needs to become Governor so she can “stand up” to Trump's FEDERAL trade policy?

Think about that for about five seconds.

She's already sitting in the UNITED STATES SENATE, on the AGRICULTURE COMMITTEE, in a leadership position, with an actual role in federal agricultural policy. But apparently the solution is to leave Washington for St. Paul and THEN she'll save Minnesota farmers from Washington.

I'm actually farming in Minnesota. I don't need a politician explaining that fertilizer is expensive. I WRITE THE CHECKS. I don't need a politician explaining that markets matter. MY LIVELIHOOD DEPENDS ON THEM. Also, us Minnesota farmers damn sure shouldn't be hauled out as campaign props while the people already holding power in Washington point fingers at everybody else.

Forget the campaign slogans for a minute, Minnesota.

Ask what she's accomplished with the power she ALREADY HAS.

Because blaming Trump from an interview is easy.
