It is quite ironic to lecture India about press freedom and democracy while keeping your own X handle @rheamogul protected so that only approved followers can even see your posts. If you truly believe in openness, transparency, and free expression, then the same standards should also apply to your own handle. You cannot selectively preach freedom of speech for others while restricting access to your own opinions. This kind of contradiction only weakens the credibility of the report and makes it harder for many people to take it seriously. My advice: be the change that you want to see in the world.
P.S. The journalist is Hong Kong-based(CHINA) and has also written articles for SCMP, which makes the irony around lectures on press freedom even more striking.
Trump is done. All these days he mocked Obama for paying Iran a plane full of cash. Now Reuters is reporting that UAE has agreed to pay Iran billions, much more than what Obama ever paid, and the deal is not even signed yet. Iran has humiliated Trump and mopped the floor with his ego.
@umashankarsingh The same media that turned Operation Sindoor into a circus and embarrassed the nation is now being called out by Iran for getting basic facts wrong. Hopefully, the MEA takes note of this repeated clownery. @anjanaomkashyap

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in India categorically rejects the reports and claims circulated by certain media outlets regarding the economic situation in Iran and alleged difficulties in the supply of essential goods and public necessities.
It is emphasized that, despite the imposition of three wars and extensive pressures against the Iranian nation, no shortage of essential commodities or basic necessities has occurred to date. Owing to the effective measures and responsible management of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran under the leadership of President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, the procurement, supply, and distribution of the goods required by the country continue in a normal, stable, and uninterrupted manner.
The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran also urges respected Indian media organizations to obtain and disseminate news and reports concerning Iran from credible, official, and verifiable sources. In this regard, it should be recalled that Iran International is a media outlet affiliated with opponents and adversaries of the Iranian people and has a long record of disseminating biased narratives aligned with anti-Iranian political agendas. Consequently, it cannot be regarded as a credible source for accurately reflecting the realities of Iran.

Spoke with President Trump. We'll have more on Fox News in a few minutes.
"What I would suggest to Iran: You've shot your missiles, that's enough. Get back to the table and make a deal," President Trump told Fox News.

@MoeedNj Oman was the primary facilitator and go-between for the United States and Iran before Pakistan took that role. Today Trump is saying that Oman better behave or we will blow them up.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: The Strait is going to be open to everybody. It’s international waters. We’ll watch over it, but nobody’s going to control it.
Oman will behave like everybody else or we’ll have to blow them up. They understand that.

I think he meant Iran. It will be interesting to see if the White House gives any clarification on this, or if Oman again makes a public statement like before saying it does not want to be part of any toll system in the Strait of Hormuz and accepts that it is international waters.
@Safarnejad_IR It is quite evident that Trump does not have the final say in this deal. Significant efforts are made behind the scenes, only for Netanyahu to reject them, after which Trump introduces new unrealistic demands and the cycle continues.

That Rubio was not received at appropriate level on arrival is not correct.
He was received by the head of the Americas division, which is the right protocol.
Any special protocol treatment to Rubio, even if considered exceptionally, would also have to be given to the visiting Japanese and
Australian FMs for the Quad meeting.
