From a chemistry perspective, vinegar + baking soda is not a true explosive because it is simply an acid–base reaction that slowly produces carbon dioxide gas.

It does not undergo a rapid self-sustaining exothermic reaction, release large amounts of energy, or create a shockwave like actual explosives do.

Any “explosion” comes from pressure building up inside a sealed container, not from the chemical reaction itself.
