@worldhockeyrpt Using the picture from the side they weren't selling tickets from in disingenuous come on
Rest of the lower bowl is pretty full which is already more seats than most WHL stadiums
@buffan4lif64121@JFreshHockey Not much scoring in general from the oilers bottom 6 this year though, and the ones that do come seem to be taking advantage of turnovers rather than offensive zone pressure where it'd be more likely to see D man assists
Gretzky. Kurri. Messier. McDavid. And now Draisaitl.
The Edmonton Oilers become the FIRST team in NHL history to have FIVE players score 1000 points 🤯🔥
@MorganLaidler There's also a thought where players will play differently when the feel they can't trust their tendy - warranted or not its a real affect
Did anybody else not get to properly celebrate that goal last night because you thought they cranked that off the post as well; my girlfriend thought my brain stopped because I didn’t run around my house for about 15 seconds 😅.
What a win though, I’m still BUZZZIN.
@thackattack41 I understand the premise that the refs favour some team but the logic here is kinda weak... Take the assumption that a team can play a way that they'll get less penalties then you'd expect that to carry over regular season to playoffs.
Straight from rule book:
If a defending player, except a goalkeeper, while play is in progress, falls on the puck, holds the puck, picks up the puck, or gathers the puck into his body or hands from the ice in the goal crease area, a penalty shot shall be awarded.
Absolutely hilarious scrolling through the twitter timeline today seeing everyone convinced the oilers are the worst ever and every player is useless then completely 180 and say they're never going to lose again
