Die Kosten und die Pflege der Schilder übernehmen die jeweiligen Religionsgemeinden selbst. Ein Anblick, der in vielen Orten Deutschlands recht normal ist. Es ist das erste mal, dass auch eine Moschee ausschildert.

Reaktionen auf die neue Tafel seien in Penzberg bisher durchweg positiv, so der Imam der Penzberger Moschee, Benjamin Idriz. Das neue Hinweisschild werde als sichtbares Zeichen gegenseitiger Wertschätzung und des respektvollen Zusammenlebens verstanden.

„Zugleich unterstreicht es die Offenheit unserer Gemeinde: Das Freitagsgebet und die Predigt finden in deutscher Sprache statt und stehen allen Interessierten offen – Muslimen ebenso wie Nichtmuslimen.“

Anders sei das Echo teilweise in Sozialen Medien. „Dort gibt es neben zahlreichen positiven Rückmeldungen und viel Zuspruch leider auch viele hasserfüllte und muslimenfeindliche Kommentare“, sagte Idriz.

Im Netz machten Islamhasser Stimmung: Ein radikalisierter Mob ohne Argumente oder Achtung der Grundfreiheiten.

Seit 1960 erlaubt das Bundesinnenministerium katholischen und evangelischen Gemeinden das Aufstellen der Hinweistafeln an Ortseingängen. 2008 weitete das Bundesverkehrsministerium die Erlaubnis auf alle Religionsgemeinschaften aus. Im Rahmen der Gleichberechtigung und Religionsfreiheit.

First known US case: American charged for using a “duress” password

Samuel Tunick, an Atlanta resident, is being prosecuted for allegedly giving border agents a passcode that wiped his phone.

The feature comes from GrapheneOS, a privacy-focused Android OS. Entering the duress code triggers a full factory reset.

This is believed to be the first time federal prosecutors have brought such charges.

The incident happened in January 2025 at Atlanta airport. Agents demanded access to his phone without a warrant, saying he hadn’t yet officially entered the US. When they entered the code, the phone wiped itself.

Tunick has pleaded not guilty. His lawyers argue the seizure was unlawful and that agents were investigating his activism against “Cop City.”

The case raises big questions about digital rights at the US border.

[My own observation: Chemical plants, refineries and the like are extremely susceptible to internal sabotage. New workers are give days of safety training on all the do's and don't's.
This safety training, when flipped in purpose, is virtually a "how to blow up this plant" manual.
In the woke West, there must be no discrimination against hiring folks from countries, cultures and religions that may harbor an animosity against the country they are living in. This also goes for "2nd generation" workers who may hold a deeper loyalty to their religion than the nation they live in.
