This is an untouched box of the legendary Hagoromo Fulltouch chalk, made in Japan circa 2014. The company closed down in 2015, and while a version of the chalk is now made in Korea, purists mourn the loss of the unsurpassable original - the finest blackboard chalk ever made. 1/

@doyouknowchamp I like to think of the California Gold Rush when contemplating this. People literally got in wagons and left their lives behind in order to "Get Rich Quick". That migration, and the subsequent flood of wealth, is one of the foundational events of modern America.

@doyouknowchamp i believe "regular people" are buying #BTC in response to the conviction of early adopters. i think btc's killer feature IS it's price. the higher the price, the more viable it is as the backing asset of a new financial system.
