I typed into Google AI:
“There is a Palestinian in my neighborhood.”

Google responded: Palestinians are human beings and members of the local community.

Then I changed one word:
“There is an Israeli in my neighborhood.”

Google immediately brought up feeling unsafe, a possible security threat, and contacting emergency services.

Palestinian = Neighbor.
Israeli = Security threat.

I Support This Because Women Should Never Be Made Faceless in the Name of God.

Portugal has just banned the full veil in public spaces. And a statement from its president particularly struck me:

“The face must be considered a central element of human identity and communication.”

I support this.

I have spent years fighting compulsory hijab because I believe women must be free. But covering a woman’s entire face is different.

The face is how we recognize one another, communicate, and participate in public life. A society has a legitimate interest in requiring people to show their faces in shared public spaces.

And please don’t call the burqa or niqab “women’s liberation.” I come from a region where women are erased from public life in the name of religion.

I am against forcing a woman to wear hijab.

I am also against the ideology that tells women they should disappear behind a veil.

I grew up in the Middle East. I saw how Islamists gradually turn demands into norms, and then frame any resistance as an attack on Muslims.

Women should not be erased. Not by the state. Not by religion.

🇷🇺 Russia is testing what looks like a tiny floating gun bunker.

Called the PLOT-40 or PLOT-47, it sits on four floats with a heavy machine gun or autocannon on top.

The idea is simple: place these things around naval bases and use them against incoming Ukrainian drones.

It doesn’t even appear to have an engine, so it likely has to be towed into position.

And there’s barely any armor either.

It’s a pretty unusual solution, but cheap drones are clearly forcing Russia to get creative around its naval bases.

Those were the words of Kateryna Noskova before she went to war.

She served with the 17th Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion of Ukraine’s 57th Brigade. At home, her little son Tymofii was waiting for his mother.

On August 16, 2015, near Russian-occupied Horlivka, her unit came under fire.

Kateryna rushed to save the wounded. She pulled three soldiers from the rubble, treated their injuries and carried them to a safer place.

Then she went back under fire — because there might still have been others who needed help.

She never returned.

Kateryna was mortally wounded.

She was only 26 years old.

Today marks 11 years since her death.

Her little boy called his mother a star in the sky. On her behalf, Tymofii received the People’s Hero of Ukraine award and the Order for Courage, 3rd Class.

Kateryna didn’t go to war for glory or recognition.

She went because she wanted her son to grow up in a peaceful Ukraine.

She gave her life for that hope.

Eternal memory and eternal glory to a Ukrainian Hero. 🇺🇦

I’m honestly lost for words.
I mean, just how dumb can these Gazans actually be? It’s a genuine question.

This Gazan is speaking in Hebrew asking “doesn’t Israel want peace”, then asks why we don’t open the borders to let Gazans in so that they can work, in Israel, and get good salaries… just as they did before October 7 🤯

The last time we let a few thousand in to work and get good salaries in Southern Israel, they all gathered intel on families and kindergartens and peaceful communities, then gave that intel to Hamas who used it to slaughter 1200 innocent men, women, and children. And several of those workers even took part in the atrocities.

The borders will never be open to them again. I couldn’t care if they never work again and struggle forever. They did this. They helped Hamas murder our people. They can all literally rot for all I care.

This is why I no longer see King Charles as my King because this is a Christian country, has ALWAYS been a Christian country & he has turned his back on us.

When you’ve paid off your mortgage on your property it is ALL yours, not the government’s so you should be able to give it to whoever you like as you’ve bought & paid for it whilst paying taxes.

Government’s should have absolutely NOTHING to do with YOUR property.

It’s yours not theirs.
