Today, I visited the last Manganese (Mn) smelter in SA. The stats are depressing.

In last two decades, SA increased Mn exports from 2Mt to 14Mt, while beneficiated product decreased from 850k to 155k.

We are even behind Malaysia with no MN. Motsepe moved his smelter there. 😠
