@islesfan777@stefen_rosner@juice33nyc No. Players electing to go to college get an extension on their time frame to sign an ELC iirc. Basically until the summer after they graduate. The length of said ELC will then adjust depending on age. This is not him trying to avoid the isles.
@KevinNguyen41@NHLMedia Look, bias aside, Sennecke is having a phenomenal season. The kid's a stud and going to be great for you. He deserves the accolades. But when hes put up against Schaefer, who breaking countless records as a rookie 18yo dman, its hard to not vote for him.
@jack718134@TomGulittiNHL .75 ppg for an 18 YEAR OLD ROOKIE DEFENSMAM. I too would laugh at a suggestion of any forward or veteran player being recommended for the Hart with that number, but not only is he playing out of his mind for his age/pos. Hes also doing 1D mins and a +14. Super impactful
@KeithKalinowsk1@stefen_rosner This is simply not true. You can play well, and the other team can play better. Im not saying that this is the case, but very specifically, just playing well does not win the game. You have to play well and play better than the other team. Or be lucky, which the Isles rarely are
@Frisch42@RTaub_ While I think the original tweet is a bit silly, this is apple and oranges. Isles were in a real bad spot going into 2018. No one expected them to get to 2 conference finals, regardless of the circumstances around those seasons. Rangers were a recognized good team
@Taab_N4@SirSuhDude The skilling guide in game tells us whats relevant. Currently in game mats cam get us up to mithril+Mahogany. After that we will need new logs/planks or new ores. But some of the logs combine with the old resources
@jonwarman@islanders_takes Big thing to remember is Roy was playing Lou's system, not his own. Could be wrong, but Darche and Roy seem to mesh better. Not expecting anything this season, but I don't think its been bad.
@nhljersh@IslesDen@RTaub_ Snow was not a good GM.
Snow made some good moves and trades that helped move this team forward from a bad place.
Both statements can be true.
@PntButtrFlcon @NHLJensen Without the lottery ball, you still have Eklund, Aitcheson, Wiseman, Ritchie, and Shabanov. Thats still incredibly strong. We'd still be talking about this
@WYermal@RTaub_ You can also want to be somewhere and decide to leave lol. Its not that complicated. You can infact have conflicting emotions about things.
@WYermal@RTaub_ He can both want to be here and see that this team is not on the path to win, with or without him. Therefore, he leaves and gets the opportunity to win with a better team.
@DavidSchoeps@stefen_rosner@TheElmonters Reminder that the entire coaching staff under Roy was Lou's staff, not Roy's. Let him free, give him space to be his self, see what happens. If it still doesn't work out, THEN look at new options imo
@Spazemunky It's a simple matter of fact that we cannot let a Tavares-esque situation happen with Nelson (obviously not the exact same situation). We really do have to get something out of Nelson. And unless we get equal value or better back, that means at minimum a retooling
