@JamesConran1@MattBruenig@Noahpinion Eh, even if viewed as a failure, the gains made from funding and advancing zero-knowledge cryptography seem more useful than most any alternative that the talent would be drawn into.
@zkDragon Merge doesn’t mean DOGE blocks are finalized in or checkpointed to LTC. It just reuses hashing work: a parent header commits to a DOGE block, and Dogecoin verifies that proof against DOGE difficulty. The parent can be stale/non-canonical on LTC, so an LTC reorg doesn’t reorg DOGE
Huge congrats to my friends at @siafoundation on this major protocol upgrade! 🎊
First production utreexo implementation + proof that sustainable open source funding works. Decentralized storage is still the backbone of Web3, and Sia keeps delivering on its mission.
If you make a token of a baby, and the baby itself gets kidnapped tomorrow, you still have the same baby.
Because the token still exists and is in limited supply just as before. Nothing has changed.
What tokens are doing to the concept of babies, few understand.
Lots of respect for the folks in crypto pushing real-world value where fiat underserves -- and rooted in p2p. I'm very excited to see where @Go_Karsa goes.
incredibly excited to announce that @0xDwil and I have launched Karsa—and we’re backed by @ycombinator!
karsa is a global dollar account that enables anyone in emerging markets to save in stablecoins to protect against currency instability. Going live in 6 countries today 🌍

crypto twitter is grappling with losing its value as a public square, so the energy is moving to making a harassment machine that gets pointed at anyone actually doing anything
opt out / do not engage
It's been a week of scapegoating @AyaMiyagotchi with our discontent towards anything (and everything) @ethereum.
Firstly, a thank you to folks that engage productively, I've learned a lot
So here we go, @ethereumfndn mythbusters edition so we can at least agree on some facts
Regardless of the future of Ethereum—whether with or without me in any capacity—I want to state publicly and very clearly that I have nothing but respect and praise for @AyaMiyagotchi's leadership and friendship. There are many reasons Ethereum has flourished over the years, and Aya has played a significant role in that. She has a deeply strategic mind and a pure heart. Not many people have had the chance to work closely with her, but I have. My successes in Ethereum have always been complemented by her support and guidance.
Even if you want to see changes with the EF, and even if your criticisms are valid, please look toward and help build a positive future. Please, put the pitchforks away.
