@PastorMark So you're not sure it is genuine, yet people who state such opinions are "controlling," and "less trusting," and "critics." If reading Scripture, giving testimony, singing songs and praying is all it takes to be of God, that opens the door for a lot of "God stuff" to be real.

@S4R41_K44R@jonsteingard@timfalk Mercy is not abstaining from justice, it is looking at all the elements involved in the furtherance of justice. When someone throws themselves on the mercy of the court, mitigating factors are considered. Mercy is not an opposite of, but an element of justice.
@S4R41_K44R@jonsteingard@timfalk I don't view Jesus as the same character as God, but a challenging view, as he is a part of the trinity and did say that He and the Father are one. Also, can an act of mercy satisfy justice? I would say that it could, but again, I could see why some would disagree.
