@WaysStranger I’m for transparency on financials to deter corruption, but I think the term limits change barely registers as a change. I wouldn’t vote for it if given the option. But this proposal doesn’t give any clean option. One subject at a time is a simple, good rule.
What is this—politics? MI Proposal 22-1 forcibly joins 2 otherwise independent rules for elected officials: transparent financials and term limits?! Why combine and limit voter choice? The whole IS NOT greater than the sum of the parts.
@brianeno Remember Oblique Strategies? It's still great. In moment of creative therapy, I made a web version. Yet it is a derivative of your work, so it will continue to exist at your leave. Is it okay if I keep it online? Say No, and I will delete it. https://t.co/5mIweqfz7u
Recent interview I had with part of our crew at Covenant Eyes: pornography, generational curse, accountability, the poor in spirit. 36 mins. https://t.co/YaWOqzB6jt
@mursic You were part of the crew at Usability Matters, right? I was just holding up a physical booklet of Service Design Heuristics on a Zoom call. Is the PDF still around? It's a handy set of reminders…
@esaumccaulley I just finished listening to Reading While Black. It is a good work. And heavy in that it shows "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' declares the Lord." Oof. Thank you Esau.
@dburka@ohrachelsmith Hey, same for me. Rode my bicycle down the road to Chaput's Berry Farm outside Chassell MI. Wages: 25 cents per quart. Workers would throw rotten berries at each other to add fun to the days.
@Ask_Spectrum In the last 2 days, your trucks came and went. I'm told "Service has been restored," at 10:38 AM. Me and my neighbors have your cables piled in our yards, hanging from our houses, disconnected from the poles. NOT restored. Now I'm told you'll send someone in 5 days?
You cannot get educated by this self-propagating system in which people study to pass exams, and teach others to pass exams, but nobody knows anything.
You learn something by doing it yourself, by asking questions, by thinking, and by experimenting. 🧠
@CCBChurch As a group leader, I want Lead app to rotate on iPad so I can enter mtg summaries with a keyboard attached. Sent on behalf of my wife who asked, "Isn't a Facebook group better?"
