@DavidDack I’ve been following and have taken your advice on checking ego on 80% of my runs and have run my fastest 5k, 10k, and half this year. I strength train 2x per week and rest one day. Average 20 miles per week running. Appreciate all of your posts!
@DavidDack 10k for me..allows you to make up time if you start too slow and is doable any time of year if consistently running 20-25 miles per week. 5k is just hell the whole time for me. I’ve run 5 half marathons and all were torture after mile 10.
