He registered to vote in Los Angeles County in 2021.

He voted in 2022. He voted again in 2024.

Then he applied for citizenship and swore under penalty of perjury that he had NEVER registered to vote in any election in the United States.

Wednesday a federal grand jury indicted him for it.

His name is Butleng Taing, 43, a Cambodian national in Long Beach on a green card. On his Form N-400, the citizenship application, he declared he "had never claimed to be a United States citizen in any way." He had. Under oath. The day he registered.

Two more Los Angeles County green card holders were indicted with him Wednesday, Sulema De Leon from Mexico and Rouzbeh Seyamaknejad from Canada. Same form. Same lie.

Los Angeles County's Registrar told a federal judge this month, in a sworn declaration, that it "is not equipped or authorized to verify voter citizenship" beyond what the voter attests. It takes your word for it.

Two governments asked them about citizenship. They gave each one a different answer, and both answers were under oath.

An honor system is not a safeguard. It is an invitation. 💎

Fox News: An aggressive criminal investigation is underway into the Mary Peltola-linked effort to recruit a fake Dan Sullivan onto the ballot. Multiple grand jury subpoenas are expected in the coming days.

The probe has been active for months and intensified after today’s New York Times report exposing the “ballot composition project.”

Trump: “We caught them cold… Mary Peltola should resign from the race. I think she should be prosecuted criminally.”

They spent months hunting for a namesake to confuse voters and split the vote. Now the DOJ is moving.

Summer 2025: a Peltola staffer is reportedly told to find every Dan Sullivan in Alaska.

Today: two Sullivans are on the ballot.

The NYT says Peltola aides and the DSCC helped recruit the second one. They deny it.

Alaskans vote Nov. 3. Answer the question.

The Attorney General of the United States went on Fox and said it plainly: they are cheating. Todd Blanche is talking about the Alaska Senate race, where Mary Peltola's allies are accused of recruiting a second man named Dan Sullivan to sit on the ballot next to Republican Senator Dan Sullivan. As Blanche put it, they're trying to take votes from the incumbent by confusing Alaskans with the same name instead of running on the issues.

The New York Times reported that top Peltola aides ran the effort, and a fired campaign manager said Peltola was "definitely aware" before trying to walk it back. Peltola's campaign denies it and nobody has been charged. But the Justice Department has already sued to block certification, Fox is reporting the criminal investigation is heating up, and this afternoon President Trump said Peltola should drop out and be prosecuted criminally, calling it "voter fraud at the highest level."

Election Day is next Tuesday and tens of thousands of Alaskans have already voted. If you have to put a look alike name on the ballot to fool voters, you already know you can't win them honestly. Alaskans, read that ballot carefully.
