🚇 Pune Metro Expansion: Approval for Hadapsar–Loni Kalbhor & Hadapsar–Saswad Routes ✅

Under Phase 2 of the Pune Metro, two new sub-corridors — Hadapsar to Loni Kalbhor and Hadapsar Bus Depot to Saswad Road — have received approval in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on 4th Nov 2025.

With this, the metro network will now expand eastward, bringing modern connectivity to suburban areas such as Hadapsar, Fursungi, Loni Kalbhor, and Saswad.

🔑 Key Highlights:
• These two feeder lines will be part of the Khadakwasla–Swargate–Hadapsar–Kharadi Metro corridor.
• Fully elevated metro project to be implemented by Maha-Metro.
• Estimated cost: ₹5,704 crore for the 16 km stretch.
• Purandar Airport Connectivity: The Hadapsar–Saswad corridor will extend via tunnel to the upcoming Purandar Airport, with multilevel integration for metro, roads, and parking.
• Land Acquisition: CM Fadnavis has instructed to expedite land acquisition for the Khadakwasla–Hadapsar–Swargate–Kharadi route.

🚇 Other Ongoing Metro Projects:
• Hinjawadi–Shivajinagar Line-3: Completion by March 2026
• PCMC-Nigdi Line-1 Extension (4.4 km Elevated): Target January 2027
• Swargate–Katraj Line-1 Extension (Underground): Target March 2029
• Vanaz–Chandni Chowk and Ramwadi–Wagholi/Vitthalwadi Corridors: Target July 2029

This expansion marks a major milestone in Pune’s integrated urban transport vision, enhancing connectivity and economic growth across the city and beyond.

🚨 Submission of Memorandum to Hon'ble Minister Chandrakant Dada Patil Regarding Pending Issues in Hinjawadi IT Park**

***Minister Acknowledges Growing Frustration Among IT Employees and Residents***

🔰 A representation was submitted to the Hon’ble Minister of the Government of Maharashtra, Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil, regarding the pending issues in the Hinjawadi IT Park. The Minister’s attention was drawn to the growing DEEP discontent among IT employees working and residing in Hinjawadi over the past few months.

Today, Hon’ble former Corporators of Pimpri-Chinchwad, Mrs. Mamatatai Vinayak Gaikwad and Shri Sandeep Anna Kaspaté, had invited us for the Hon’ble Minister Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil and ‘Snehibhet’ program, where the following three key issues were presented:

❇️ The eighth consecutive representation from IT employees regarding the long-pending issues in the Hinjawadi IT Park was submitted to the Hon’ble Minister. Shri Sachin Gunale of the #UnclogHinjawadiITPark campaign was also present. The growing frustration among IT employees due to unnecessary delays in even minor road works was also highlighted.

❇️ A representation was submitted through Hon’ble Mrs. Mamatatai Vinayak Gaikwad regarding the classification of the sports ground at Wakad (currently under the PMRDA development authority) into the municipal corporation’s jurisdiction, along with other pending matters. A request was made for immediate action on this issue.

❇️ The Minister was also apprised of the delays and pending work related to the Datta Mandir Road project in Wakad.

The Hon’ble Minister assured that he would look into all three issues seriously and discuss them with the PMRDA Commissioner to ensure their resolution. Expressing hope that these matters will be resolved at the earliest, gratitude was conveyed to the Minister.

Present at the meeting were MLA Shri Shankar Jagtap, Former Corporator Shri Shatrughna Kate, Hon’ble former Corporators Mrs. Mamatatai Vinayak Gaikwad and Shri Sandeep Anna Kaspaté, Shri Sachin Gunale, Mrs. Tejaswini Sawai, and Shri Raj Mangrule.

Special thanks were extended to Sandeep Anna Kaspate and Mamatatai Vinayak Gaikwad for the invitation.

My favorite way to learn is now uploading a bunch of source material to AI and then doing this:

“Help me understand this paper step by step. Go from high level (simple explanations) to incredibly low-level, detailed technical explanations until I understand it. Do not advance without confirming that I understand each step with a quiz question first.”

[a long and honest post for freshers, college folks, and anyone stuck in the job-hunt loop]

i get it. you’re applying everywhere, linkedin, portals, referrals, and nothing moves. you have real reasons too: you want to help your family, repay loans, prove you’re worthy, escape a bad job culture, or simply start your career.

i’ve been in that place. many of my friends were too. some broke out, not because they got lucky, but because they changed how they approached this.

hard truth: applying blindly doesn’t work anymore. fewer openings, more people. most startups don’t want to spend months teaching basics. they want people who can do the job. and honestly, that’s fair.

what’s not fair is nobody told you how to become that person.

here’s the path, simple and hard:

pick one lane for 3–6 months: frontend (react), backend (node), mobile (react native), design (figma), data (python/sql), marketing (content/performance).

one lane only. do not jump daily.

build proof of work: 3–5 small projects and 1 anchor project (go a bit deep). ship weekly.

document “problem → approach → impact.”

portfolio: a notion or simple website with links, github/figma/blog/demo videos. these days recruiters like us click links first, not adjectives.

write one clean case study: what you solved, trade‑offs, metrics, what you’d do next.

record short demos (2–5 mins): show input, output, speed, and one failure case. real > polished.

learn from youtube/blogs: don’t get trapped in paid fluff. switch teachers if you don’t get it. keep going until it clicks.

a simple weekly loop:
> day 1: plan a tiny feature or project (not a dream app).
> day 2–3: build and deploy (vercel/render/railway).
> day 4: write the README + case study draft.
> day 5: record a quick demo + fix one bug.
& repeat until you got some solid understanding about the domain.

interviews: take your anchor project into every call. walk through how you thought, not just what you built.

show trade‑offs: “i picked X because Y; the downside was Z; here’s how i handled it.” and always be honest about gaps, but show how you learn: “here’s a bug i hit; here’s the fix.”

mindset: stop saying “market is low” if your skills are low. fix the part you control.

become someone who attracts opportunities!

compete with better people to grow. study their repos, portfolios, design systems, decks. reverse‑engineer.

when to apply: after 3-6 months of consistent work.

mental and routine:
> 90 minutes daily minimum, phone away, one tab, one feature.
> walk, sleep, eat, write one line every evening: what you learned.
> when stuck, take a short break, not a full stop.
