The Buttigiegs have experienced a nightmare that should never have happened at all.

BREAKING on MS NOW:
Sens. Bill Cassidy and John Kennedy say there will NOT be a vote today on the GOP reconciliation bill following a two hour meeting with Acting AG Todd Blanche.
This comes after a growing number of Republicans express concern about the Trump slush fund and ballroom funding.
I think American taxpayers are upset because you took a 7 month family reality show road trip subsidized by the American taxpayer and paid for by corporations you regulate, while not doing your actual job—which incidentally is also paid for by taxpayers who are paying an enormous amount for gas because of a war your boss launched and can’t get out of.
In 1993, Trump signed a mortgage for a Florida home, pledging it would be his principal residence. Seven weeks later, he attested a neighboring property would also be his principal residence.
In reality, he does not seem to have lived in either home.

2 Democratic States have redrawn, both with a mandate from the people.
5 Republicans States (soon to be 6) have redrawn without a single person getting a vote.
Both sides are not the same.
Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach.
The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.
@middleageriot Putting a mass public event space inside the White House grounds is a security and safety risk and makes no sense whatsoever. Their brains are all fried!
This is an inane and irresponsible thing to say. As if going to Caltech explains why this guy, years later, did anything. Especially without knowing almost anything else at this stage, less than 48 hours later.
Look at all these MAGA influencers tweeting in unison about Trump’s ballroom last night. Not an original thought among them.
Hope the money is good, I guess.
