ग्लासगो में मुक्केबाज़ लवलीना बोरगोहेन ने 75 किलोग्राम वर्ग में रजत पदक जीतकर देश का गौरव बढ़ाया।

इसी दौरान भारत के मानचित्र से पूर्वोत्तर भारत को हटाए जाने पर उन्होंने ग्लासगो के एक रेस्तराँ में कड़ा विरोध दर्ज कराया और मानचित्र बदलने के लिए मजबूर किया।

राष्ट्र की अखंडता के प्रति लवलीना के इस दृढ़ संकल्प की माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी ने भी सराहना की।

It was a pleasure to hold a bilateral meeting with H.E. Gayton McKenzie, Minister of Sport, Arts & Culture of South Africa, on the sidelines of the BRICS Culture Ministers’ Meeting in Bhopal.

We discussed strengthening India and South Africa’s cooperation in culture, heritage, creative industries, skills development and people-to-people exchanges. I also shared India’s flagship cultural initiatives, including the Gyan Bharatam Mission and the Brihattar Bharat Project, and explored opportunities for deeper collaboration in preserving and promoting our shared civilisational heritage.

As strategic partners and fellow members of BRICS, we remain committed to deepening our enduring cultural ties for the benefit of our people.

I had a warm and productive bilateral meeting with H.E. Fadli Zon, Minister of Culture of Indonesia, on the sidelines of the BRICS Culture Ministers’ Meeting in Bhopal.

Our discussions focused on further strengthening the centuries-old civilisational and cultural ties between India and Indonesia. We reviewed the progress of India’s assistance in the restoration and conservation of the iconic Prambanan Temple Complex, a landmark initiative that reflects our shared commitment to preserving our common heritage for future generations.

We also discussed expanding cultural exchanges, enhancing people-to-people connections, and deepening cooperation in line with the vision of our leaders following the successful State Visit of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi to Indonesia.
