Yesterday, in a prayerful mood, I visited the 800-year-old Sri Santhana Venugopala Swamy Temple at Mahadevpura near Bibinagar, a temple dating back to the Kakatiya era.

To my surprise, a Mazar has appeared under the sacred Ashwatha (Banyan) tree around which devotees traditionally perform pradakshina as part of temple worship.

How and why was a Mazar established inside a Hindu temple campus, beneath one of its most sacred trees? Was this done with the knowledge and consent of the temple authorities and devotees, or was it an overnight encroachment? These are questions that deserve clear answers.

A man had built a house worth ₹45 lakh, but there was a major problem in his area.

Every day, the electricity would go out for 3–4 hours, and during the summer, power cuts could last as long as 6 hours.

At first, he thought installing an inverter would be a simple solution.

But a neighbor warned him that choosing the wrong inverter and battery could mean spending money without getting proper backup.

So, he called an electrician and explained his requirements.

He wanted to run:

• 4 fans
• 8 LED bulbs
• 1 TV
• 1 Wi-Fi router

The electrician calculated the load:

4 fans = 300 Watt
8 LEDs = 80 Watt
TV = 120 Watt
Wi-Fi router = 20 Watt

Total load = 520 Watt

The man then said he needed at least 4 hours of backup.

The electrician did the calculation:

520 × 4 = 2080 Watt-Hour

Now, considering a 12V battery and 80% efficiency:

2080 ÷ (12 × 0.8) = 216Ah

This meant that at least a 220Ah battery would be required.

Next, he calculated the inverter size:

520 ÷ 0.8 = 650 Watt

So, an inverter in the range of 900VA to 1100VA would be suitable.

The man asked if that was all he needed.

The electrician replied, “No. Proper wiring is equally important.”

For the inverter charging line, a 2.5mm wire and the correct MCB are necessary.

Incorrect wiring can affect battery charging and may also cause overheating issues.

Then the electrician noticed that the man was planning to keep the inverter in the bedroom.

He immediately advised against it.

Because hydrogen gas is released while the battery is charging, the inverter should always be installed in an open and well-ventilated area.

Now, let’s look at the cost calculation:

220Ah Battery = ₹16,000
1100VA Inverter = ₹7,000
Wiring and Installation = ₹3,000

Total Cost = ₹26,000

With this setup, the essential appliances could comfortably run for 4 hours during a power cut.

The man then realized that before buying an inverter, understanding both the duration of power cuts and the total electrical load of the house is the most important step.

Because a properly calculated inverter provides comfort and reliability, while a poorly calculated one often leads to disappointment and regret.

Bukan cuma satu, dua sekaligus.

Kenapa ini bisa terjadi?
Di usia 14 tahun, otak remaja (khususnya bagian prefrontal cortex) belum matang sempurna.
Kontrol impuls, pemahaman konsekuensi jangka panjang, dan kemampuan mengantisipasi risiko masih sangat lemah.

Hormon lagi naik-turun, ditambah paparan pornografi gratis di HP sejak usia dini, pengaruh teman sebaya, dan minimnya pengawasan orang tua.

Hasilnya “Main papa mama-an” berujung dua kehamilan. Bukan karena dia “jahat” atau “sengaja”, tapi karena sistem di sekitarnya gagal total mencegah ini terjadi.

Orang tuanya hampir pasti gagal memberikan edukasi seks yang benar, pengawasan, dan batasan.

Banyak kasus seperti ini terjadi di keluarga yang sibuk kerja, miskin, atau memang nggak pernah ngomongin soal seks sama anak karena tabu.

Anak dibiarkan “belajar sendiri” lewat HP dan lingkungan.

Si cowok itu juga korban sekaligus pelaku. Secara hukum di banyak tempat dia bisa kena kasus, tapi secara perkembangan dia masih anak.

Tanggung jawab sebagai “ayah” di usia segitu hampir mustahil.

Tapi konsekuensinya tetap nyata: mungkin harus putus sekolah, kerja kasar seumur hidup, atau bahkan masuk penjara tergantung hukum setempat.

Dan ini yang mengerikan sebagai pesan ke semua orang tua & masyarakat:
Kalau anak 14 tahun sudah bisa “berhasil” bikin dua gadis hamil sekaligus, artinya paparan seksual terlalu dini sudah jadi hal biasa di lingkungan itu.

Bukan cuma di Meksiko. Di banyak negara berkembang (termasuk Indonesia), kasus kehamilan remaja masih tinggi karena kombinasi yang sama:
> Kurangnya pendidikan seks komprehensif di sekolah
> Orang tua yang tabu ngomongin seks
> Akses internet tanpa filter
> Kemiskinan yang bikin anak “dewasa” lebih cepat

Bayangin dampaknya: dua bayi baru lahir dari ibu yang masih anak-anak. Siapa yang akan mengasuh mereka? Siapa yang biayai? Siapa yang kasih pendidikan layak?

Satu kasus kecil di satu desa rural ini bisa mewakili ribuan kasus serupa yang nggak viral.

Anak-anak ini bukan cuma “bermain-main”. Mereka adalah cerminan dari seberapa gagalnya kita sebagai orang dewasa melindungi, mendidik, dan membimbing generasi berikutnya.
