It's a hassle even for apple users to lug around two separate chargers just because apple refuses to modernise their phones. This move benefits absolutely everyone involved.

It's happened before in the automotive industry yet no one bats an eye now to it. If the ruling is in favour of the general populace, I don't see why that's a bad thing.
