Email deliverability pros:

Was getting 30% open rate, had a DNS mixup & DMARC failed for 6k emails.

Since that, open rates are 20%. I've fixed DMARC. Same audience, similar content, 3 campaigns at lower open rate.

$1000 Venmo'd if you reply with fix that works

@lightningboltz @dsa Yah, I literally call all my email deliverability work “black box hell” and it’s, by far, worst part of my work haha.

@lightningboltz @dsa Spam traps...I guess we don't have visiblity into this, but our audience was pretty static when it happened. I have run 3rd party test (GlockApps, Mailgun) and I can get into Inbox 98%+ of the time with exact same emails.

@dsa @lightningboltz Man, I've been banging my head against the wall trying to solve this for like 2 weeks. It was like Nov 27th – 30% open rate. Nov 28th, DMARC failure + 6K emails sent...permanently 20% open. Even in different audiences (which previously also had 30% open).

- IPs warmed (18+ months), but on shared IPs (don't have volume for dedicated)
- Time series of sender rep from Google Postmaster and Hubs internal tool -> Only improvement, no decline
- "From" address changed name, not domain (I could try)

@MarcoSuarez Healthcare marketplace. I went direct to provider originally since I didn’t qualify for a subsidy anyway, but it ended up being a mistake. Purchasing through the marketplace provides certain protections that direct doesn’t. Came into play during a out of state move.
