@SimonCalder Paisley-Stirling return dropped from £22.20 to £15.90 bringing it in line with the cost of fuel for the same journey by car. Door to door commute by train is 15 mins slower a.m. & 15-30 mins faster p.m.

Personal perspective, for me, this is a positive change.

@SimonCalder Bad weather leading to ATC restrictions and delayed/cancelled flights is understandable.
However, the poor customer service provision in T5, failure of the BA app to auto-rebook and unwillingness to look at alternative carriers/routes is on them.

@SafeStandingRS Hi Jon - we’ve got tickets & seat reservations for all the ICE trains we’ll use and a D-ticket for everything else. Does that cover any and every means of transport we could use for our time in DE? Most of our short journeys will be bus or RE trains from Ludwigshafen to Mannheim.
