Responding to persistent shortages of health-related resources, #UNMISS peacekeepers from #SouthKorea 🇰🇷 set up a medical camp in Anyidi, #SouthSudan 🇸🇸, providing more than 70 residents with medications and basic treatment to prevent and/or address diseases. Amongst the beneficiaries of the outreach activity were also eager learners at a local school, now proud owners of crucial educational material.

To assist internally displaced persons in Bor, #SouthSudan, in maintaining theirs, #UNMISS peacekeepers from #SouthKorea have distributed cholera vaccines and water treatment substances to the community, whose access to clean drinking water is often limited.

Parts of the vital supply route Malakal-Renk in Upper Nile, #SouthSudan, are virtually impassable. Even using all-terrain vehicles, an #UNMISS recce patrol undertaken ahead of scheduled road repair work was soon forced to turn around as water levels became dangerously high.
