Haryana AE 2024 Opinion polls

We conducted our first state tracker poll for Haryana, sampling 18 constituencies (covering 72 localities) as per a scientifically crafterd method (Detailed data and process here: https://t.co/wKnK1sFvE1). While we accurately predicted the BJP's vote share, local factors led to a discrepancy in our forecast for INC+ (43% predicted, 39.4% actual), with INLD+ and others gaining ~3% more than expected.

Our method for translating vote share to seat share, which included vote swing adjustments and qualitative insights, proved insufficient. This highlights the need for seat-level polls in today's political landscape, which however are extremely extensive and costly. Meanwhile, we remain committed to refining our process, finding more cost-effective yet accurate solutions, and maintaining transparency🙏
