@Satyayadav__ Every year, the city gets flooded with a few hours of rain ! And this continues to happen year after year after year, without any much change in the state of infrastructure !
No drainage, roads with craters, school buses stuck for hours, ambulances delayed ! Very sad !

Steroids Before PET Scan 🧠📸
Avoid false-neg results: know timing for each!

1. Dexamethasone 💊
• High-risk
• Suppresses FDG uptake within 4–6h
• Hold ≥24–48h before PET if possible

2. Methylprednisolone 💉
• Moderate FDG suppression
• Hold ≥24h before scan

3. Prednisone 💊
• Similar to methylpred
• Hold ≥24h before PET

4. Hydrocortisone 💧
• Least suppression
• Hold ≥12–24h pre-scan

Tips 🧠
✔️ If steroids can’t be held, use lowest dose
✔️ Mention “on corticosteroids” in PET request
✔️ Especially important in lymphoma, CNS mets, inflammatory lesions
