A mother of a boy on the spectrum has written a very emotional post. Amanda Gibson's son Nolan has became friends with a Fed Ex delivery guy, named Tim.

Nolan looks forward to Tim coming and will stay outside all afternoon just to speak with him. Nolan decided for Halloween, he was going to dress up as Tim. Yesterday, the family found a plastic clear bag with a fed ex shirt and hat along with this note. Nolan read it out loud and busted out in tears. The mom wrote

"Not sure of any details but I do know that Fed Ex is losing an incredible delivery guy! The world needs more Tim’s!!!! I wish I knew his last name, his social media, someway to stay in touch. It’s my mission to find Tim! He delivers out of Wilmington to Supply, NC.

A friend told me her 9-year-old son asked if his classmate Julian could come over after school because “they don’t have Wi-Fi at home.”

Julian showed up wearing shoes held together with duct tape and carrying his homework in a plastic grocery bag.

She made grilled cheese sandwiches.

He ate three of them silently.

That’s when she knew something wasn’t right.

He started coming over every day after school.
Always hungry.
Always polite.
Never asking for anything.

One night she drove him home and finally understood why.

The apartment was freezing.
His father was gravely ill with stage 4 lung cancer.

No insurance.

And one sentence broke her:

So she asked:
“What if he didn’t?”

Now there are two boys doing homework at her kitchen table.

One finally has shoes without duct tape.
One accidentally called her “Mom” last week.

His father cried when he heard it.

Sometimes changing a life isn’t some grand heroic act.

Sometimes it’s noticing the kid who’s always hungry.

Sometimes it’s an extra sandwich.
An extra pair of boots.

Florida Cop Saves Choking Baby with Quick Back Strikes

A Florida police officer saved a 14-month-old girl who was choking on a chicken nugget at a Palm Beach Gardens mall.

Security video shows the mother, Ana Graham, pulling her daughter Lucia from her stroller and calling for help. Officers Robert Ayala and Rafael Guadalupe rushed over.

Ayala turned the baby face-down and struck her back until the nugget popped out. The second officer calmed the mother.

The grateful mom called the officers “angels from heaven.”
