@daria_kostaniak Yes, the Margaret & comic cover designs have been great for Tsubaki-chou. I’m really going to miss the series for its art. As for the story and the relationships in it: not so much. So oldfashioned, the wrong kind of retro 😩

In Margaret #16, Yamamori Mika presents the 3rd side episode of Tsubaki-chou Lonely Planet after the series ended last March. The featured couple is Katsura & Yukichi from Daytime Shooting Star 💫 The 4th & last ep. (Fumi & Akatsuki) is set to follow in Margaret #18, out 8/20.

Pénélope Bagieu’s comic Brazen is a collection of 29 bios of inspiring & courageous women from the past 2,000 yrs. One of my faves: Moomin creator Tove Jansson’s. How she found happiness w/ her gf Tuulikki & Bagieu's comet reference - so central to the Moomins (pic 4) - is 💕☄️

Margaret #16 also comes with a download code for the second part of the Tsubaki-chou Lonely Planet voice drama. The 3rd & last part of the drama series is set to be released with comic vol. 14, on sale September 25.

Tsuiraku JK to Haijin Kyōshi volume 5 is in stores now, as a regular edition and as a limited edition that includes a mini artbook with more than 30 of sora's chic color illustrations and sketches for the series.

Student teacher romance shoujo manga aren't exactly rare atm. sora's Tsuiraku JK to Haijin Kyōshi manages to stand out from the rest of them with its darker visuals, as demonstrated on the cover of Hana to Yume #16 which also comes with an audio drama CD for the series.

Also, it’s been almost 40 years since the English translations of Rose of Versailles 1+2 by Frederik L. Schodt (aimed at Japanese readers learning English) became the first ever commercially available English translated manga for the North American market. In 1981. 📚👵👴

Looks like Udon's edition could be based on the Japanese bunko edition which also has 5 volumes. (The original tankōbon format had 10 vols.) This wouldn't include the new material ("Episode-hen"; comic vols. 11-14) released since 2014, though.

@yuui1010 The 1st tale is about twin brothers, one of them the future king. They flee from the royal court & live together until one of them meets a woman... The 2nd tale (which continues in vol.2) is about a nomad tribe servant and his relationship with the king & his own twin brother.

The 2nd volume of Nakamura Asumiko’s highly aesthetic fantasy series Ōkoku Monogatari - Tales of the Kingdom is finally coming out this Friday, July 19! The cover features Han twins Dao & Xiao. I adored the 1st volume of these beguilingly beautiful but ultimately cruel tales 👑🌟

The 1st volume of Kimi ga Tokubetsu by Kōda Momoko (Sensei Kunshu, Atashi no!) comes out 7/25. In this cinderella romcom, Sahoko is done with hot guys after a bad experience. But when Ultimate Hot Guy idol Kōta shows up at her parents’ restaurant he turns out to be really nice⁉️
