When learning, I call gaining a power an "a-ha moment". At any point you may come across a moment in which something clicks and a part of the puzzle will suddenly be super clear and then you can go back to things that seemed impossible before and they will make more sense.
Learning programming, webdev, cs and even math is like playing a Metroidvania game.
In the game, you start with little abilities and powers and sometimes you reach doors or passageways that you can't open or reach.
Later in the game, you find a power, weapon or tool that you can use to reach that unreachable place before and that's how you progress and access to those areas gives you eventual access to other powers.
