Millions of dollars in royalties go unpaid because of audio and metadata matching limitations. At Pex, we add the power of melody and phonetic matching to find the most uses of music and get rightsholders paid. Check out the content we've matched: https://t.co/ZCQYsjktbo
@vboykis@Pex is on a mission to support content creators with fair and transparent licensing, so that they can get paid for their work. We’re transparent, fully remote, 6 week of vacay, and hiring for data engineers, senior engineers, DBA, and more https://t.co/8RelNb1VrE
@CarlosODonell@stephentyrone Yes! It’s also SO FAST to empty a small drawer, making dealing with dishes feel so much more lightweight. And while one drawer is washing, you can pile into the second one without needing to pile in the sink. SO AMAZING 🤩
Feeling for all the folks laid off yesterday across the industry, please reach out, I’m here to cheer on and support how I can. And Pex is hiring for a few roles as well ❤️
@posco I believe that’s true for those cases, but not all models need to meet a high standard of transparency. Even sharing loss and some info on features is better imo than nothing, when a model has a big impact on society and public discourse.
@posco Haha that’s true. He also said that our biggest threat is robots taking over, and it’s just around the corner (paraphrase), which always confused me, because most ppl that actually understand ML find that to be absurd. 🤷♀️
@posco I don’t work at Twitter so not sure about this, but I bet their algo has plenty of hand-engineered features and components that make it more explainable than a single giant neural net taking in only unstructured input. I like the idea of adding more transparency than zero 🙂
When we became a remote global company, I never thought that I would be holding my breath for 3 days as one of my employees fled bombing in Kharkiv with his children.
Was it only two years ago that I would start my day reading the news and crying over the pandemic? And now I’m starting my day reading the news and crying about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Fucking Putin and all his enablers. May they rot in collapsed bunkers under car parks.
Excited about teaching the next generation of MIT undergrads about machine learning? We're hiring lecturer(s) and would love your application! https://t.co/EKjUYhd2nu
