Beginning to think AI robots for customer service, hospitality, pubs would be better than young people programmed by limitations of technology.
What we really need is young people verbally respond to willingness to listen, find solutions customer need then we won’t need AI.
@sharrond62 Parents need to Stand together for common sense. History has shown us how mutilating and damaging conceived notions imposed on society are wrong.
Example electric shock treatment for women with postnatal depression. We’d perceive that now as brutality.
Energy news! @Ofgem's put out a 'call for input' on how charging structures should work in the longer term and it wants feedback. It includes standing charges, time of use tariffs, should higher users pay higher rates, and even should wealthier people pay more?
It’s brave to do this, and to be fair should be applauded for opening up a range of ideas for feedback (even if you'll hate some of them – that’s partly the point to let it know what's acceptable and what isn't). Do have your say... https://t.co/MfGkOicdUd(MSE & I will be putting our feedback in too after some thought)
Worth noting this is all stuff that won't happen for a few years and doesn't change the more short-term proposals for mandating providers to have a 'no or low standing charge' tariffsAA.

In folklore the sunflower is considered a flower of loyalty because each day it turns its head to loyally follow the sun, from east to west 🌞 #FolkloreThursday
Van Gogh painted not what he saw, but what he felt. In every brushstroke, a heartbeat. In every colour, a cry for meaning. He died 135 years ago today. Watch his world come alive in 60 seconds on JamesDrake TV:

My buttocks clenched with frustration at seeing the @ASA_UK latest advertising campaign (two versions of which are below).
That flared into anger as I found its briefing piece saying those who saw their campaign's “trust in most ads almost doubled“ and the linked Advertising Association saying about the campaign "our work... has always been rooted in building trust in advertising"
I believe this is the WRONG message at this time. Social media and the internet are a wild west, we have an epidemic of scam adverts, and deep fake AI ad videos (a good number of both with me in) from criminals, trying to steal people’s money, or sell them fake medications.
We need to encourage scepticism of social media adverts, not trying to build trust in them.
The regulation to punish tech firms for scam ads won't likely be in full force properly until 2027, and even then it won’t cover many players.
I know the Adverting Standards Authority has a Scam Ad Alert system, and is doing what it can in the UK with its relatively limited powers as a self-regulatory body.
Yet Big tech is still far too happy to lackadaisically take criminals money to pump out scam ads, with piss poor protection and slothful takedown, all in the name of ‘we need make it easier and quicker for people to advertise'
The legit advertising industry needs to wake up and put pressure on the big tech firms it pays to do better, or no one will trust a word any advert says.
Cold exposure is one of the most ignored natural remedies on Earth.
Used right, it melts fat, reverses your age, and reduces inflammation in the body—yet no one talks about it.
So, I started researching its healing benefits...
What I discovered will blow your mind: 🧵
@zakwilliams Beautiful sentiments heartwarming and uplifting.
Robin Williams brought joy and laughter to everyone and especially to those who suffer to help ease suffering through laughter.
#Margarine containing hydrogenated/partially hydrogenated oils contain trans fats & you should avoid eating it.
Margarine can raise bad cholesterol, lowering good cholesterol making blood platelets stickier, a better choice is #oliveoil, avocado oil or grapeseed oil
@ReemDepp Disappointed. Not that I'm well enough at the moment, pulled a nerve in my back, resting through pain, but wish I could have attended this as I have been looking forward to this film and would have loved to hear cast comments. London centric. But I do like the Curzon.
