@MrsPA_C I work in an ER - I’ve seen multiple occurrences where Docs give patients cash for a Taxi & buy them food from the cafeteria before they leave. Ive even seen one of our Docs give a patient his own winter jacket because the patient was homeless, discharged and it was -10 outside.
Nurses are wild they’ll just call and be like “doc, patient just had a small 7 second run of asystole and syncopized, but I sternal rubbed ‘em back and got an EKG. Just thought I’d let you know” as if it were the most normal event
