@PeelSchools You can start any google meet directly from your Board G-mail account, if you set up your G-Meet in your google calendar. The bottom left corner of email says "my Meetings", click it and proceed to see "Join Meeting". This is a work around to avoid coming from BYOD.

My 10yo daughter needed shoes. In the sporting goods store, she asked, “Mom, why do they only have pictures of girls stretching or posing, but the boys are doing something athletic?” 🤔

We CAN look out for who is missing in pictures, what the message is, and ask if that's really true or just perpetuating something that is potentially outdated of harmful to others.

Biology is a component, but is not the sole determinant or the broad brush to paint with. Social stereotypes have little to do with biology.

Roles & preferences are soc. constructs, highly influenced by culture, envrnmnt, stereotypes, media, the list goes on. Don't underestimate decades of social and psychological conditioning within society.

Principals will tell you that before Reg 274 they'd receive hundreds of emailed resumes from qualified teacher applicants for 1 job. They simply felt forced to go with who they knew, or who a colleague would ask them to look at (often the colleague's close relative). Unfair.

Marriott keeps giving an auto call saying I am "entitled to a complimentary stay..", then after you press 0 they say it is a promotion with prices expiring at the end of the call. When you quote that it's a complimentary stay, they simply hang up. Marketing scam #MarriottTRAVELER
