@micsolana The whole idea of reparations is that African Americans are still disadvantaged as a result of slavery and systemic racism. The only consequences we still face from 9/11 are the fact that we can’t stop invading the Middle East
“Dad, how dominant was Nikola Jokic?”
“He wasn’t, son. He beat the 8th seed Heat w/o their top scorer, so somehow he was allowed to get bounced by Jaden McDaniels every year”

Embiid is the toughest player in NBA history.
Forget the physical hardships: Broken feet, face, fingers; Back, Knee, Hip, Appendix issues etc.
He moved across the globe at 15, against his family’s wishes. Had to cope with his younger brother’s death. Missed half his college career and ended up on the worst roster in NBA History. Dealt with Owner burner accounts, ridiculous GMs/coaches/teammates/media, was constantly the scapegoat of the Process despite being the only positive externality.
Nobody has been through more, played through more, and succeeded more with less than Joel Embiid. I’ll die on that hill FOREVER.
Quick math:
Obama's ICE chief: Award for 920,000 removals
Trump's ICE chief: Called Nazi
Same guy. Tom Homan.
Obama 2012: 409,000 deportations
Trump 2025: 290,000 deportations
More = award
Less = Gestapo
I'll wait for someone to explain.
Talarico is the most dangerous type of false teacher. Why?
He makes blasphemy seem like the right thing to do. He makes heresy seem like the acceptable path. Every phrase coated in kindness to hide the stench of the sin under it.
What’s the difference? Who is the “you” you speak of? Because you don’t mind forcing religion for abortion and LGBTQ issues but you can’t force your religion to use people’s money for what God intended? You make a mockery of my religion
Except that Jesus didn’t call for the government to do any of those things.
He called YOU to care for the sick (out of your own compassion and your own pocket, not the pockets of others).
He called YOU to provide food to the hungry (from your own pantry).
He called YOU to pay a laborer his wages (what you agreed and know to be fair, not what the government says)
So the man with combat experience, training, and a weapon lost his cool and it was a simple error, but the woman who was told to “get out of the effing car” and surrounded by masked men that came out of unmarked vehicles overreacted?
