As soon as Haley Stevens, who barely lost to Abdul, endorsed Mike Rogers and didn't move the needle even with Jewish voters, that was a massive tell for every progressive Democrat: the boogeyman of the moderate Dem is nonexistent and it's the weakest they've ever been. If you think these people will give them an inch, you're absolutely wrong.
I understand their policies are not popular. Luckily all they have to do is just lie: govern like progressives, talk like populist moderates.

My frustration was mostly because Trump should have known after 2016 that, short of him making sure that every person in his cabinet was going to enact what he promised and ran on, nothing would get done and would get blocked again. The most important position is the person who is responsible for staffing the White House

When Joe Kent resigned, I was frustrated because a lot of people had to fight against neocons to get him in. That was the politics of it. In hindsight maybe he was right and I was wrong. These next few weeks are time for soul searching for everyone.
