@markoah Nope. England was created by the English. The amount of people from other countries, whom we have welcomed, or been forced to welcome, who are now telling us who we can be, has been shocking.
@imranmahmood777 You are not English.
My Chinese student finds the concept that an immigrant living in China, or their offspring, should ever consider themselves as Chinese as she, (regardless of citizenship status), laughable.
She's not racist nor unkind;, just accurate.
@ShippersUnbound@JoeMarkham5 Nations are built through ethnicity. You would never impose this civic paradigm upon any other people, only the British. Why?
@Con_Tomlinson There are zero white politicians in the Pakistani parliament and the two top jobs can only be held by Muslims. All Pakistani politicians, currently serving, belong to South East Asian groups eg Punjabis, Pashtuns etc
@Mike_Burke_UK@Con_Tomlinson@WTF_AIARight My Indian friend (77), born & raised in Trinidad & Tobago, a Presbyterian. She married an Englishman & has lived in England for 58 years. She told me that she felt drawn back into Hinduism. She described it to me as going back to her "roots".
Her "ethnos" appears to be calling.
@Mike_Burke_UK@Con_Tomlinson@WTF_AIARight Nope. My father lived in Brunei for over 20 years. He married a Malay lady and had a son. He never considered himself Malay. The idea would have been preposterous.
I was born in Cyprus and spent my infant years there. I am neither Greek, nor Turkish, Cypriot.
@Con_Tomlinson I discussed this with my Chinese student. She laughed at the idea that anyone could claim to be as Chinese as she, simply by virtue of having been born there.
Only England gets this treatment.
Having lifted the world into modernity,we must now be nothing -scorned,erased & replaced.
@lewis_goodall I was a teen in the 1970's & the political mayhem was a backdrop throughout (homework by candlelight etc). But the music, BBC; standard of social, political & cultural debate was infinitely higher.Arts progs/comedy/etc..all superb. We were free, far less materialistic & happier.
BMG polling just out has shown what percentage of the public would consider voting for a Restore Britain candidate at the next general election.
An astonishing 29.6% for Restore Britain.
The figure for Reform? 29.5%. Labour on 32.5%.
Restore Britain can win the next election.
@daveatherton Stick a savage in a 5* hotel, it's still a savage. The state is using them as attack dogs to destroy our society, precipitate civil war, so that they can impose martial law, for "our own safety".
Evil treacherous b*stards.
The English are not a propositional nation, and we do not need to create logically consistent lines of argument to justify and validate our existence.
As with any ethnicity, it is a felt experience of belonging to a tribe based in heredity, continuity, and togetherness.
Burnham has just categorically stated that the next general election will be in 2029.
Restore Britain will be ready, and I have never been more confident that we will take our country back.
