Our lab’s first foray into immunology examines how immunosuppressive CTLA4-Ig therapies like abatacept release PD-L1 from CD80. We show this effect depends on antigen-presenting cell surface CD80:PD-L1 ratio, and can reinforce T cell inhibition.
What an incredible Reunion! It was wonderful to see all former lab members who traveled to NYC from all over the world & to experience the joy that we all shared in getting together. THANK YOU & stay in touch! #LoweLab25
This is the league table of how countries are currently investing in R&D as a % of GDP. The figures continue a 14-year⬇️trend in national R&D investment for Australia. If we keep going the way we are, in 5yrs years we'll be among the lowest of all @OECD countries #Auspol2023
Thank you Scott! Loved those years at @CSHL, and great to see @LoweLabMSKCC going from strength to strength. A fantastic crew. Here’s to your next 25 years! #LoweLab25
Former postdoc Ross Dickins @CSHL developed a powerful gene regulation system that continues to produce impactful science. Back down under, @DickinsLab@ACBDresearch@MonashUni studies leukemia & immune checkpoints. He just visited us and presented amazing work! –SWL #LoweLab25
