@MartinSLewis It's a difficult one, isn't it. What do you do in instances where the ombudsman recommends something which is prohibitively expensive, for example, or which the government of the day considers to be just plain wrong? I suppose the answer is 'don't ask them in the first place'.

@MarkFergusonMP Thanks for saying this, Mark. If my A-level results had defined me, I would never have worked as a language teacher, a data analyst, a knowledge specialist or - as now - a risk manager. Getting A-levels enabled me to go to university; the rest was up to me (and fate!).
