I care so much and everyone I ever trusted has seen what I’ve been through and actively minimize it or outright actively manipulate or trigger it or are just so far up their own asses they can’t see anything but themselves.

I thought family was supposed to mean something but it turns out that’s often just a company line we’re supposed to repeat so we keep going through the motions even as it’s draining the life from our bones.

If I had just admitted I was an orphan when I was six I would’ve avoided so much pain for so many people who never truly saw me as a member of their family

AI CSAM is not a thing, btw. There are two acronyms for a reason - please use the E 🫠 I know it may not sound like a big deal and I’m happy to explain further why it matters to me, as a victim depicted in both CSAM & CSEM, but in a nutshell it’s this:

- any major AI that has access to social media has been trained on CSAM/CSEM. that’s already been documented by ones you wouldn’t even expect to, like Amazon’s… as well as the lack of safeguards for preventing scraped data from entering final images. this does make the final product a byproduct of that material and arguing against that does minimize the very real possibility of skimmed underage bodies matched up with other SFW skimmed underage faces, and that’s assuming no one is purposely putting in IRLs photos for the express purpose of deepfaking them

- however, and this is where it gets me feeling minimized as an actual survivor… the actual “abusive” acts ARE actually the only non-invasively simulated part about this entire thing. if it’s based on abusive/exploitative material, that makes the material exploitative. it is not abusive in any *further* sense of the term. the entire reason we have both terms is because Abuse covers explicit actions from a narrow scope and Exploitation covers literally everything else that causes/feeds/adds to the harm.

AI is not abusing kids. Humanity is.
