@rei_es_2000@OzzyAussieOtty What’s most interesting to me is the very liberal responses are all over the map in figure 5, and the right’s responses cluster. Which is the opposite of that “diversity of political opinions” map circulating.
@rei_es_2000@OzzyAussieOtty To be honest, we can just grant your premise, because figure 4 confirms it doesn’t matter. In the non-overlapping version, the same pattern emerged and my original comment stands.
@rei_es_2000@OzzyAussieOtty Figure 4 is just as bad lol. And also, what you’ve highlighted in yellow established the precedent of non-overlapping, and what you highlighted in orange doesn’t suggest that suddenly they ARE overlapping in the ring allocation vs figure 4 unit allocation.
@batboysagogo@OzzyAussieOtty No, it is about caring more. Each participant was given 100 moral units to allocate to each category. And the outer rings didn’t include the categories of the inner. So when you vote for, say, “plants and animals.” you are allocating units to that ring AND NOT “family”. zero sum.

@rei_es_2000@OzzyAussieOtty I actually did read the study. Participants were given 100 “moral units” to spend across each ring. They were told each out ring did not overlap with the rings inside it. So giving one “moral unit” to the outermost ring, takes one unit away from all the other rings. Zero sum.
@jwsherrod I think there is no theoretical “upper bound” to the force. Size indeed matters not. Everything you’ve mentioned is possible in the abstract, but no being has ever become “one with the force” enough to achieve such feats.
@granawkins No because this is exactly correct. One time I accidentally chose the more bulleted answer and was like “fuck” so that’s my contribution to this madness.
@SoarAI Will, I purchased flight on here automatically end up in the respective airline app and rewards account, as well as with my KTN number attached?
@JOEBOTxyz The pope taking a strong stance against AI personhood is actually very important. It is a dogmatic belief. Anything on the level of consciousness definitionally has to be dogmatic. Because if we believe otherwise, the consequences are catastrophic.
@dichotomyofman@_MVPJaMarr@GeringerAdam It’s a safety hazard too. Couldn’t tell you honestly many times I’ve seen powerlines just…. broken handing down to the sidewalk. Like what are we doing?
