🚨 BREAKING: Enzo Maresca :
“At the end of December 2025, I made the difficult decision to leave Chelsea”
"The decision was only mine. My resignation from Chelsea opened a path for me to join Manchester City, which is a club I knew very well. I am ecstatic that I have now joined Manchester City.”
"I recognise that my departure from Chelsea in the middle of the season caused disruption for the club and I apologise for that. It was neither my intention nor my wish.”
"I was treated well by everyone at Chelsea and together we achieved great success and memories that I will always treasure.
"I am grateful to the club, the owners and the fans for giving me the opportunity."
🚨🚨CLUB STATEMENT:
Chelsea FC appreciates the 2025/26 season was a hugely disappointing one for the Club and its supporters. A major contributing factor was the disruption caused as a result of changes that the Club was forced to make to the Head Coach position over the Christmas period. Due to recent developments, we consider that it is important to explain to our supporters what happened and why our former Head Coach left the Club on 1 January 2026.
How do you even watch that game and come away with this?
Like they didn't still create enough good chances against that horrible low block to win the game?
You just create agendas in your head and never let it go
No think pieces for when your Potter was stripped naked too.
Tuchel is a knockout manager but in a league/group stage format he gets exposed as having a bland squad of players. At club level I wouldn’t say it’s his fault but at national level, he is the one who picks the squad. When teams set up for a point against Tuchel sides there is tons of evidence of Tuchel struggling and it’s down to having no technical ability.
Wharton or Palmer might have no use in the knockouts when England become that defensive team against better technical sides but when teams look to frustrate for a point he has very little answers.
The moment he came back from that International retirement after things didn’t work out for him, I knew FIFA offered him everything to come back and it was because Ronaldo went against them 💔
Enzo Fernandez or Martinez could have scored that penalty, but his selfish chase for the all time goal record won’t let him give the younger players a chance.
Lmao I have my issues with Ronaldo. But you really think Ronaldo played elite football for 20 years to be rattled by what Messi does before him ? Messi use to score hattrick before Madrid games and Ronaldo would respond with 5 goals
Has anyone else noticed that Lionel Messi is utterly incapable of winning alone? He doesn’t elevate clubs; he demands engineered systems to mask his limitations.
The moment Barcelona’s financial leverage collapsed and his elite safety nets Neymar and Suárez were stripped away, Messi tried and failed to lead a transition era alongside Coutinho and Dembélé.
Realising he couldn't carry the weight, he fled to a state-funded playground at PSG, hiding behind prime Mbappé.
When that experiment imploded, he retreated to America, immediately manipulating the environment by exhuming Busquets, Alba, and Suárez just to survive the MLS.
Even his crowning international achievement was a manufactured narrative a World Cup handed to him by an entire squad structurally designed to run, press, and bleed on his behalf while he walked the pitch waiting for penalties.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo adapted, evolved, and conquered England, Spain, and Italy. Ronaldo builds legacies from the ground up through sheer force of will; Messi merely inherits luxury super-teams and hoards the credit.
One is a self-made footballing deity. The other is a heavily protected VIP tourist. The debate is officially over. 🤫🐐🇵🇹
“Lamine Yamal is still only 18 but he is no longer the same bright-eyed boy who lit up the 2024 Euros,” writes @SamJDean.
“In the two years since, that boyish charm has been replaced by a strong-voiced, politically aware, heavily commercialised and occasionally controversial man.”

You can never convince me sacking Pochettino for Enzo Maresca didn’t set Chelsea back at least two seasons.
Even his biggest hater can see the high octane football we played often. The attack was burning on every cylinder, just needed more reinforcements in defense and midfield but we got rid of him 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Nothing I hate more than full hair like this on boys, makes them look so unkept 😩 my brothers have fought me countless times on it.
Why not be a respectable young man and cut low cut ffs.
Chill.
Cause Messi played well yesterday doesn't mean Ronaldo has too
He plays the ball and doesn't control the game like a referee
And incase you forgot, Ronaldo scored a hat trick against Spain few years back
So shut the fuck up and rest
Same goes for all Messi fans in here
